
If you have followed along on my other posts, you would have read that it is established in both God’s laws and in psychology that you are what you think. What you think about yourself and what you believe creates your reality. It is an established fact that your beliefs are transferred to your subconscious mind. And, it is your subconscious mind that controls your actions.
So if someone has an addiction, it is a fact that they are thinking and believing they are an addict. If someone is alone, impoverished, miserable, or in a constant struggle – these are the results of their established patterns of thoughts and beliefs which are continually being acted out through their subconscious mind which in turn creates their reality.
So, is it true that fruit can cure an addiction? Here is what God says about fruit:
- From the fruit of their lips people are filled with good things and the work of their hands brings them reward. Proverbs 12:14
- From the fruit of their mouth a person’s stomach is filled; with the harvest of their lips they are satisfied. Proverbs 18:20
- I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, saith the Lord; and I will heal him. Isaiah 57:19
If you decide that the fruit of your lips (your words and thoughts) will be consistent with being cured, such as, “I am cured”, “I am free”, “I am healed”, “I am happy”, “I am blessed”, and you believe it, then it is true that fruit can cure addiction.
Make the decision right now that your fruit will be “…whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable–if anything is excellent or praiseworthy–think about such things.” Phil 4:8
